Autumn Conference was joyful

On Wednesday 28th September Women in Fellowship filled Gloucester Cathedral’s capacity with 122 of us having a fabulous day together.  We came from 33 branches including Abergavenny, Truro and East Cheshire.

In the morning we had a service surrounded by Christopher Whall’s fine stained glass in the Lady Chapel and  had some free time to explore.   Having tucked into a tasty lunch in the cloisters, we had the privilege of hearing from Janina Ramirez, the BBC broadcaster and art historian, about powerful women in Anglo-Saxon times.

To see the treasures we found when exploring or to experience more of the day through podcasts and photographs, sign into the Member’s section and visit the news pages.
