Rugby 1 is travelling solo

The following branch report from Rugby I was lost in cyberspace and did not appear in the Winter Grapevine. We are sad that they are no longer able to remain part of Women in Fellowship and  wish the members all the best for the continuation of their friendships.

The picture is of Peggy celebrating her 97th birthday.

Very sadly this will be the last report for Grapevine from Rugby I.

After many very happy years of association with the W.F. national organisation the momentous decision has been made to travel 'solo'. We are grateful for all the help, support and friendship provided by Executive over the years and wish them, and remaining branches, well.
As an 'aging ' branch we have modified our meetings and held them either in a church or a village hall. Although we have no longer had formal meetings, our Fellowship has remained very strong and we have met up once a month at Dobbies Garden Centre for coffee and to catch up on member’s news, (plant and Waitrose shopping being a bonus!) We celebrated Peggy's 97th birthday there earlier this year.
As the years go by and we get older we have to adapt but we intend to maintain the ethos of a Christian Fellowship!
